PASSION PROJECT
Genes are weird. Like really weird. You never know how they're gonna affect you, what they'll cause, or how they'll change your life. It's easy to see an outward condition and empathize, but so many individuals deal with internal challenges and often feel alone. You are not alone and you never will be.
This project tells the stories of individuals who have dealt with a challenge or condition that was caused by genetics. I created custom, painted jean jackets to tell their stories in an outward expression. Through this passion project, I hope to help individuals know that they are not alone and find comfort in others' experiences.
The inspiration for this project comes from my loving sister who deals with medical challenges which were caused by genes. She has taught me many valuable life lessons and I hope to do for others with this book what she has done for me.
